No W&TXM continuity in AEMH

Once upon a time, there was some contention that the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Wolverine & The X-Men were in the same continuity.  There is no question but what that was the intent of Christopher Yost, who was the head writer for both shows; he stated as much in interviews.

The Marvel comic series, which is in-continuity with the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, has seemed to contradict this.  In the most recent issue (#6), one of the two stories features Magneto as the villain, with Quicksilver (In his powder-blue and white lightning uniform) and the Scarlet Witch (in her George Perez bathing suit uniform) as well.  In the issue,  Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch turn against Magneto, and he in turn tries to punish them by strangling them with a metal garrote.

At the end of the issue, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch have essentially declared their independence from Magneto, and are on their own.  This would seem to utterly reject the status-quo of Quicksilver (who wore a variation on his original green and white lighting uniform) and the Scarlet Witch (who wore a corset-ish costume, and who was now the ruler of Magneto's kingdom of Genosha, and who had exiled Magneto).

So there you have it.  We finally have indicative proof that the two shows do not share the same continuity, from Christopher Yost himself.
